THE BRIEF

International Rescue Committee wanted to reach a core donor acquisition demographic – left leaning, disposable income – through a campaign.

THE SOLUTION

In a saturated refugee charity market and with a limited budget, finding the right strategic partnership to reach this audience was vital.

Through research, we focused on building a relationship grounded in an engaging creative vision.

We sourced an extract, ‘The Stranger’s Case’, from the historic play ‘Sir Thomas Moore’.

Written by William Shakespeare over 400 years ago, the script contains one of the earliest and most impassioned defences of a compassionate refugee policy.

For World Refugee Day, we brought it to life on stage and on film – casting both actors and refugees to perform the prose.

THE RESULTS

• 1.2m organic views of the film
